James had a desire to help people, so he gladly accepted the call from his church to serve in missions. James has traveled with church teams to Mexico, Haiti, Nigeria, and Zambia several times. The mission teams helped churches in all of the countries. They supported the missionaries that were already in these countries. They found that the people needed their help and welcomed them with open arms. James wanted to help in more ways,

so when the opportunity presented itself, James volunteered to serve in medical missions. In Zambia, he had to get a general medical license from the Zambian government in order to serve on a medical team. The teams would set up in local school buildings. He would have a nurse to translate for him. The people came in droves and lined up for help. Because the locals had open fres for cooking in their primitive homes, he saw

LEFT James maintains two pharmacies in the Abilene area. When he’s not working, he’s spending time with family and taking part in the community.
