Austin and Kaley Garner were also taken by surprise by the news, especially since the couple does not have twins in their family. Kaley says, “Austin was originally more excited than me. I was crying because I was terrifed and he was laughing! I found out at my appointment and phoned Austin afterward.” Their son, three-year-old Creed, was thrilled to hear he would be joined at home by two little siblings. Kaley shared, “It’s hard to explain. The love is overwhelming. It’s a blessing to have two and a miracle. I believe God only allows certain people to have twins, and they are lucky because it’s a rare thing. The twins have a good big brother, Creed. He loves to hold them. When they cry, he asks us to fx it.” Daughter, Peyton Blake, and son, Slade Jayton, arrived April 11, 2011.
