Annual homecoming parade featuring foats, marching units, and lots of Tarleton spirit. The parade is held on Saturday morning and encircles the Tarleton campus.

Tarleton State University is now home to a little piece of Washington, D.C., thanks to an exhibit and gallery honoring former Congressman Charlie Stenholm. Stenholm was on campus during homecoming festivities to dedicate the gallery and to thank the many participants who played a role in recreating his Washington offce, and 26 years in Congress, with exacting detail. The exhibit is located in the university’s Tarleton Center, the frst building visited by many prospective students. Stenholm graduated in 1959 from the two-year Tarleton College and went on to receive his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Texas Tech University.
