“I’ve always been fascinated by water. The combination of the beautiful fowers foating on the water was the perfect spark to get me started.”

Pittman explains that she began painting the water lilies as a past time, but her artistic depiction of the foating fowers began blossoming. “When I frst started, I began experimenting with different mediums, and I just kept painting because the fowers were entrancing to me. Before I knew it, I had ffty paintings, so I thought why not make it 100?”

The water lily pond is not only an important local attraction, but the collection also carries prestige and importance abroad.
