Currently on exhibit at the museum through June 26, 2011:

Different Directions: Coming Together in Clay features the work of 4 ceramic artists: Harris Deller of Carbondale, Illinois, Marian Haigh of Austin, Texas, and Ed and Cornelia Gates of Corpus Christi, Texas.

A Survey of Contemporary Korean Ceramics from the Crow Collection of Asian Art spotlights the distinct trends in contemporary Korean ceramics.

The Tile Club - Artists of America’s Aesthetic Movement from the Graham Williford Collection . This exhibit presents a selection of works by members of the Tile Club, a group of notable New York painters, sculptors, and architects who met together between 1877 and 1887.

Form & Substance - The Art of George Tobolowsky

This Dallas artist is known for his dynamic and compelling large-scale sculpture, made from discarded steel and scrap metal.

George Mendoza: Colors of the Wind

Declared legally blind as a teen-ager, New Mexico artist George Mendoza creates paintings derived from visual memories intertwined with dreams, visions, and emotional experiences.

Whatever It Takes - Bert Long Jr.

Houston native Bert L. Long Jr. works in a variety of mediums and has gained national and international recognition throughout his career for his thought provoking art.

Zanne Hochberg – The Art of Our Age

A pioneering Texas artist, Zanne Hochberg was one of the frst women to graduate from Southern Methodist University with an MFA. A painter from the 1950’s through the 1980’s she was infuenced by the abstract expressionist painters of that period and became one of Dallas’ most respected and prolifc artists.

Gifts That Last Forever: Selections from the Museum’s Collection

Through the generosity of many individuals the museum’s collection of artwork expands every year. A selection of some special gifts received over the past few years will be on display.
