Coach Hall will be remembered by his athletes and students as a man who loved young people, thoroughly enjoyed athletic competition, and was a positive infuence on his players. A hallmark of all his teams was the large numbers of young people who came out to play for him, an indication that they enjoyed being around him because he made playing sports fun. Opposing coaches and players will remember him as a very competitive person who competed fairly and whose teams refected his coaching ability. His devotion to the young people in Tattnall County, in every area of sports and teaching, has left an indelible mark on young people and adults of all races in Tattnall County and Georgia.

Today, Coach Hall works part-time at Tattnall County High School teaching Driver’s Ed. The TCHS administration, faculty and staff, and students believe that he exemplifes the Tattnall County High School Battle Creek Warrior Motto: Warrior pride runs deep in Battle Creek! We are very proud to call Coach William Hall a member of our Warrior Family; he has truly touched

the lives of young and old alike. But no matter what you say about Coach Hall, he gives all the glory and honor to Jesus Christ for all of his accomplishments over the years.

Following are some of Coach William Hall’s accomplishments during his lifetime…as Matt Evans wrote in the 14 th Annual Georgia High School Football Magazine, “the results of this ‘Hall of Fame’ career are undeniable.” I think the results speak for themselves…

At the time this article was published, Coach Hall had retired from teaching but continued coaching as Head Coach for the Boys’ Track Team during the 2010-2011 school year. U TCM
