ob Lynn, son of Bobby and Gail Lynn and grandson of Ruth Funderburk from Cobbtown, has brought recognition and honor to Georgia over the past few years. With an outstanding record, this young man is fulflling his dream.

Large honors often have small beginnings and that is the way it has been with Bob. In 1991, he began working as a jailer under Sheriff Eddie Bradley. Then he moved over to Tattnall County to work as Sheriff Ned DeLoach’s Deputy in January of 1993 until December 1997. One of the things you learn in this job is how to deal with people and Bob seems to have a gift in this area. His stature of 6 feet 2 inches can be intimidating, but his gentle manner soon puts you at ease. As a little boy, Bob always dreamed a being a police offcer.
