and Dance.” When it comes to songwriting, Watson believes that it’s not so important if a song is a hit, as it is something he can stand by. “Music is life and my songs are the window to my soul. I cannot sing a song unless I believe in it.” This is especially important now that he is a father. Watson says, “I don’t want to be ashamed of the song I’ve written because of the content.” He strives to write songs that he says “refect our beliefs, our faith in God, and our family.”

As a Christian man, family man, and business man, balance is hard to fnd. However, Watson does a great job at all three. He describes his wife, Kimberly, as his “secret weapon”, who makes the lifestyle of a musician easy. “My wife has always believed in me,” he says, “She is so supportive, yet at the same time she is so not impressed with me.” After meeting at ACU, the couple married and now share three children together: Jake, Jack, and Jolee Kate.
