On November 14, 2010, over 160 students from Tarleton State University received their rings in the university’s second annual ring ceremony. Tarleton Alumni Association President, Todd Searcy presided over the ceremony. President F. Dominic Dottavio was on hand to congratulate students after they received their ring. Tarleton’s ring program began in 1986 and now more than 6,000 alumni and current students proudly wear their university ring. The offcial ring of Tarleton embodies the university’s heritage of excellence and achievement since 1899. It is a lasting symbol of alumni’s lifelong connection to that heritage and the people and experiences that are Tarleton State University. The ring ceremony is held each fall and spring and is presented by the Tarleton Alumni Association & Jostens.
