The hospital auxiliary members are also very involved in the local food bank, community hospice, and blood drives held at the Reidsville United Methodist Church.
I mentioned that they have had many moneymaking projects over the years. They have used the money raised to pay for lots of useful things for the hospital, including helping fund the very frst helicopter pad in 1990. The best moneymaking project was their annual bake sale held during the Fall Festival each year, which ended in 2009. A few of their other moneymaking projects during the past year include an auction, a raffe for a Wal-Mart gift
